How we protect and process your personal data

This Privacy Policy governs how personal data is processed when you use architention.com and the Architention service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the processing of your personal data as described in this Policy.
Please read the Policy carefully. Capitalised terms have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms of Use unless otherwise defined.
1. Data Controller
The controller of your personal data is Individual Entrepreneur Davit Poghosyan, registered at Republic of Armenia, Yerevan, Erebuni district, V. Achemyan str. 64, apt./office 0005 (the "Operator", "we", "us").
2. Categories of Data We Collect
We process (a) data you provide voluntarily and (b) data collected automatically when you use the Service.
2.1. Data You Provide
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), interface language.
- Profile data: optional information you add — company name, role, niche, contact details.
- Analysis content: public links to Instagram accounts, Reels and other content submitted to the Service for analytics.
- Correspondence: support tickets and related data.
2.2. Data Collected Automatically
- Browser and device: IP address, device type/model, operating system, language, timezone, user agent.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication, interface preferences (e.g. language) and usage analytics.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session frequency and duration.
- Payment data: when you subscribe, our payment processor passes us transaction ID, amount, currency, date and last 4 digits of the card. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
3. Purposes of Processing
- provide access to the Service and its features;
- authenticate users, secure accounts, prevent fraud;
- process payments and issue invoices;
- customer support, respond to requests, send Service-related notifications;
- analyse usage, improve features, build new capabilities;
- product marketing communications (opt-out available at any time);
- comply with applicable law.
4. Legal Bases
- Performance of a contract — to deliver the Service, process payments and handle Service communications.
- Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, analytics, Service improvement.
- Consent — marketing communications and optional cookies; revocable at any time.
- Legal obligation — where processing is required by applicable law (tax records, lawful requests).
5. Whom We Share Data With
- Infrastructure and service providers: cloud hosting, database providers, email delivery services, analytics platforms — under data processing agreements.
- Payment processors: to process payments and prevent fraud.
- AI model providers: when you run AI content analysis, we may transmit public content fragments (video, audio, text) to model providers (e.g. OpenRouter). Personal data is not included in such requests unless necessary.
- Government authorities: upon lawful requests from competent authorities of the Republic of Armenia and other jurisdictions where mandatory.
- Successors: in case of reorganisation, sale or asset transfer — with user notice.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law (e.g. tax accounting and payment processor obligations). After you delete your account, some data may remain in archival backups for a reasonable period.
7. Your Rights
- access your data and obtain a copy of information we process;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion;
- object to or restrict processing;
- withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent);
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, send a request to support@architention.com with subject "Personal Data Request" from the email associated with your account. We respond within 30 calendar days.
8. EU/EEA Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the EU/EEA or the UK, GDPR and related laws apply to our processing. We process data under Art. 6(1)(a), (b), (c) and (f) GDPR — consent, contract performance, legal obligation, and legitimate interests, respectively. Where cross-border transfers are necessary, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
9. International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to countries outside Armenia (including the EU and the US) for storage and processing by infrastructure providers. We apply reasonable safeguards, including contractual commitments with partners.
10. Security
We implement organisational and technical measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction: encryption in transit (TLS), hashed password storage, access control and regular backups. No security can guarantee protection against all internet risks.
11. Age Restrictions
The Service is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from such persons. If you learn a minor has provided us with data, contact us at support@architention.com.
12. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (authentication, language), analytics cookies and (in some cases) advertising cookies. You may manage cookies via your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit Service functionality.
13. Do Not Track
The Service does not treat browser "Do Not Track" signals as a separate control.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service or the law. The current version is always published on this page with the revision date. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-Service notice.
